Imagine the child missing their mommy or daddy at night but will have a quilt or pillow to snuggle and hold throughout the night. The pictures of their parents will help them dream that their mommy or daddy is nearby. This is where Operation Kid Comfort can help your child.
Operation Kid Comfort is designed for children whose parent(s) are deployed or will be deploying. Children under the age of six are given a quilt, and children ages seven and above receive a pillow.
Armed Services YMCA volunteers and staff receive photos from the recipient's family, which are then assembled into a quilt or pillow. Additionally, a quilted square on each product displays the logo of the deployed parent's branch of service, as well as an additional square for the Operation Kid Comfort logo and the child's name.
